Description
Asian women are among men’s favorite, especially in the US. The reasons attributed tend to relate to their dedication to family values and for being among the most beautiful women in the world. Nonetheless, they do have a dark side, not known to many. This book resumes years of interviews to women in Asia, regarding their expectations, beliefs and behaviors, before and after marriage, but also conversations with men that married them. And the conclusions obtained, reveal an obscure tendency that has crossed centuries and is still currently present, not only among women in Asia but also the ones living in western countries. Although these traits do change in those living outside Asia for many years, and especially in the ones raised outside their native country, the strong link that they maintain with their relatives, significantly influences their subconscious. Therefore, to understand these paradigms, and how Asian women feel about them, younger and older generations were compared, between themselves and with both women that did and didn’t had contact with foreigners in their hometown but never went abroad, women that had been abroad and the ones that had relationships with foreigners. This book resumes years and hundreds of pages of information and face-to-face interviews. And, even though not intending to discriminate Asian women, the information exposed clarifies most of their behaviors, while unveiling the reasons behind them. And, hopefully, it can contribute as well to more honest relationships, as the only way to stop something negative from persisting consists in exposing it.
